A website that explains, persuades and measures

A typical small business site was built years ago, looks dated on a phone, and lumps every service onto one page. Visitors can’t tell quickly whether you handle their problem in their area, so they go back to Google and call the next firm. Behind the scenes there is often no tracking at all, which means nobody knows whether the site produces work or just costs money to host.

We begin with your services, customers and the searches that matter, then map one focused page to each service. Design follows: readable type, strong contrast, obvious buttons to call or book, and pages tuned for Core Web Vitals. We build on WordPress with a lightweight theme, connect GA4 and Search Console, and set up redirects if we replace an old site. It suits owners who want a site that pulls its weight, and who want to edit it themselves later.

Common questions

What affects the price of a new business website?

Mostly the number of pages, who writes the copy, and features such as online booking, payments or a connection to your CRM. A five-page brochure site and a forty-page service site are very different jobs. After a discovery call we give you a fixed quote with the scope written out, so the price does not drift as the project moves along.

How long does a new website take to build?

Most small business sites launch in 4–6 weeks. The biggest variable is usually content: projects move fastest when text, photos and logins arrive early. We share a staging link so you can review pages as they take shape, and we launch only after you approve the final version.

Can my staff edit the website after launch without breaking it?

Yes. We build with the standard WordPress block editor and lock layout sections, so text, photos, opening hours and team bios can be changed safely. You get a walkthrough at handover and short written notes to refer back to. If you would rather not touch it, small edits can be covered under website care.

Who owns the website and domain once it is finished?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, and you receive admin access to WordPress, analytics and Search Console. If you ever move to another provider, the whole site goes with you. This is standard policy for every Digi Mavericks client, not an optional extra you have to negotiate.

Should a small business use WordPress or a website builder?

Builders such as Wix or Squarespace suit very small sites that rarely change. WordPress gives more control over speed, page structure, SEO and integrations, and you are not tied to one company’s pricing. For service businesses planning to add content and run ads, we usually recommend WordPress, and we will say so honestly if a simpler tool fits your needs.
