A PC planned around how you’ll use it
Off-the-shelf PCs often spend the budget in the wrong places: a flashy case with a weak power supply, a strong processor paired with a mid-range graphics card, or a single small SSD. A custom build lets the money follow the work. Gamers get the most from a graphics card matched to their monitor’s resolution and refresh rate. Video editors and 3D artists need more cores, more memory and fast NVMe scratch storage. An office PC needs quiet cooling, efficiency and parts that last.
The first conversation covers the software you run, the screen you’ll plug into and a budget ceiling. From that we draft a parts list with a short reason beside every line, so you can question or swap anything before a part is bought. Assembly includes tidy cable management, a BIOS update, memory profiles (XMP or EXPO) and sensible fan curves, and every build is stress-tested for stability while we log temperatures. It suits gamers, creators, students and home offices who want a machine built for them rather than for a shelf.
What we repair
- Gaming builds Graphics card, processor and cooling balanced for your monitor’s resolution and refresh rate, so you don’t overspend on parts you won’t notice.
- Creator workstations High core counts, plenty of memory and fast NVMe storage for video editing, 3D, CAD and photo work.
- Quiet office and home PCs Efficient parts, large slow-spinning fans and compact cases for a machine that stays out of the way.
- Parts advice and sourcing An itemized parts list with reasons; buy the parts yourself or have us order them at the current retail price, with no handling fee.
- Assembly and cable management Careful assembly with routed, tied-down cables for good airflow and easy upgrades later.
- Stress testing CPU, graphics and memory load tests with temperature logging, so faults show up on our bench rather than at home.
- OS, drivers and updates Windows or Linux installed with current drivers, firmware and updates, without bundled bloatware. We can supply a genuine Windows licence at retail price, or install one you already own.
- Upgrades to your current PC Graphics, storage, memory and power supply upgrades for the tower you already own, handled alongside our computer repair service.

Common questions
I already bought my PC parts. Can you just put it together?
Yes. Bring the parts in their boxes and we’ll check compatibility before starting, including BIOS support for your processor and clearance for the cooler and graphics card. If a part turns out to be faulty during testing, we’ll identify it so you can claim it with the seller.
Is it cheaper to build a PC than buy a prebuilt one?
Not always. During sales, prebuilt systems can undercut a custom build, especially at the entry level. Custom builds tend to win on what you get for the money: a better power supply, cooling and storage than prebuilts at the same price often include, and no bundled trial software. As an independent builder with no brand to push, we’ll compare honestly if you send us the prebuilt you’re considering.
What does stress testing a new PC involve?
We run sustained loads on the processor, graphics card and memory, and watch temperatures, clock speeds and errors. That catches unstable memory settings, badly seated coolers and weak power supplies before you take the PC home. We also check that fans ramp up sensibly under load and that the system stays quiet at idle.
If a part in my custom PC fails later, who do I contact?
Each component carries its own manufacturer warranty, and the length varies by brand and part. For parts we sourced, we handle the warranty claim for you, and our build work is covered for 90 days. At handover you get a list of every part with its model number, which makes any future claim or upgrade simpler.
Can you move my files and games over from my old computer?
Yes. We can copy documents, photos and browser data from your old computer, or fit its drive in the new build as extra storage once we’ve checked its health. Most game libraries re-download through their launchers rather than copying across, and we can sign in with you at handover so the downloads start straight away.
