IT that runs in the background, not in your inbox
In most small offices, IT is nobody’s job until it breaks. The office manager resets passwords, the router was set up by whoever was around that day, and nobody is sure who holds the admin login for the domain. Updates get postponed, a laptop quietly stops backing up, and a former employee still has email access weeks later. None of this is dramatic on its own. Together it eats hours every month and leaves gaps that attackers and auditors both look for.
We start by documenting what you have: devices, accounts, licences, network gear and the credentials that matter. Then we install a lightweight monitoring agent, put updates on a schedule and give your team a simple way to request help. From there we handle the day-to-day work and the awkward calls to internet, phone and software vendors. It suits clinics, trades, accounting and legal practices, logistics firms, retailers and non-profits that have outgrown ad-hoc fixes but do not need a full-time IT hire.
What’s covered
- Help desk for your whole team Staff send requests by email or phone, and each one is tracked until it is resolved, from a locked account to a printer that refuses to print.
- Remote sessions and on-site visits A technician connects securely to the affected computer with your staff member’s permission, and for hardware, cabling or a new desk, we visit your office.
- Monitoring and patching A monitoring agent on each computer flags failing drives, full disks and stopped services, while operating system and third-party software patches roll out in stages after testing.
- Onboarding and offboarding A new hire’s laptop, accounts and permissions are ready before they arrive; when someone leaves, sign-ins are shut off and their mailbox and files are kept for handover.
- Living documentation Network diagrams, asset lists, admin credentials and how-to notes are recorded and shared with you, so your IT knowledge never lives in one person’s head.
- Vendor wrangling Your internet provider, copier company, software vendors and Microsoft support all go through us, so you are not stuck on hold explaining the same fault twice.
- Security and backups built in Plans layer in business cybersecurity controls and backups with restore testing, scaled to the tier you choose.
- Projects by the same team Office moves, Microsoft 365 migrations and network upgrades are quoted separately and delivered by the people who already know your setup.
- Planning and reviews Scheduled conversations about risks, aging hardware and budget, with deeper IT advisory available when you need a multi-year roadmap.

Common questions
How does per-user pricing for managed IT work?
Each plan is a monthly rate for every person who uses company IT, covering their devices, accounts and support requests. Essentials covers the help desk, monitoring and patching, while Proactive and Secure add more prevention and security work. Each plan’s inclusions are listed on this page and repeated in your proposal. Projects such as office moves are quoted separately.
What happens when we first sign up for managed IT?
It starts with a conversation and a walkthrough of your setup, followed by a written proposal. Once you approve it, onboarding covers documentation, installing the monitoring agent, tidying admin access and fixing anything urgent we find. Your team then gets clear instructions for requesting help, and we agree a date for the first review.
Can most IT problems be fixed remotely, or do you come on-site?
Password resets, email issues, software errors and slow computers are usually fixed over a secure remote session that your staff approve. A visit makes sense for hardware swaps, network faults, new workstations and anything that is simply easier in person. On Proactive and Secure, up to 2 on-site hours a month are included in our service area; on Essentials, visits are billed at the hourly rate.
Do you support businesses outside Surrey?
Yes. Surrey is our base, and we serve offices in nearby communities such as Langley, Delta, Burnaby and Richmond. Because most day-to-day support happens remotely, businesses further afield can still use our help desk, monitoring and advisory services, with site visits arranged when they are needed.
What are the contract terms for a managed IT plan?
Terms are written into your proposal in plain language, and we go through them with you before anything is signed. Plans run month-to-month with 30 days’ notice, and onboarding is waived on a 12-month agreement. Projects and hardware purchases are always quoted on their own, so the monthly plan stays predictable.
