Common questions
My WordPress site is showing spam or a security warning. What now?
Note what you are seeing, resist the urge to start deleting files, since that destroys clues, and contact us. We take a copy for investigation, remove malicious code and hidden users, reset every password and security key, and find how the attacker got in. If staff accounts or office devices may be affected, our cybersecurity service can check those too.
Can you take over care of an existing WordPress site?
Yes. We start with a health check of the hosting, WordPress version, plugins, user accounts and backups, and flag anything risky, such as abandoned plugins or an outdated PHP version. Once those are fixed or agreed, the site joins a care plan like any other. You keep full ownership and admin access throughout.
How often do WordPress plugins need updating?
Often. Popular plugins release updates every few weeks, and security fixes can arrive at any time. Applying them promptly closes known holes that automated attacks look for, while testing first avoids broken layouts. Under a care plan we watch for urgent security releases and apply routine updates on a regular schedule, so you do not have to think about it.
Do I need to move my hosting to use your care plan?
No. We can care for a site on most reputable hosts. If your current hosting is slow, unsupported or missing backups, we may recommend moving to our managed hosting, and we handle the migration, DNS changes and SSL setup with as little downtime as possible. Your domain stays registered in your name either way.
What counts as a small edit?
Things like updating text, swapping photos, changing opening hours, adding a staff bio, posting an article you supply or fixing a broken link. Larger work, such as new page designs, features or a redesign, is quoted separately so your plan stays predictable.
