How per-user IT pricing works
Most managed IT providers charge a monthly fee per person, which covers that person’s devices, accounts and help desk requests. Larger setups such as servers, firewalls and phone systems are sometimes priced separately. Onboarding — documenting your setup, installing monitoring and fixing urgent gaps — is usually a one-time fee.
What drives the price up or down
Security requirements, how much on-site work you need, the age of your equipment and whether you have a server all make a difference. A free IT review gives you a written proposal with a fixed monthly figure, so you’re not guessing.
Questions about this tool
Is the managed IT estimate a quote?
No. It’s a budgeting guide. Your written proposal confirms the exact monthly price after a short review of your setup.
Do you charge for every device or every person?
Plans are priced per user. A user can have a laptop, a phone and a tablet. Shared devices and servers are discussed in your proposal.
Is there a minimum team size?
No minimum. Plans start at one user, and pay-as-you-go support is available too.
